CRM Systems

Design customer, sales, support, and operations systems around how your business actually works rather than forcing the team into a rigid tool.

Typical deliverables

  • Workflow mapping and CRM structure
  • Custom records, roles, dashboards, and forms
  • Email, payment, accounting, or support integrations
  • Data migration planning
  • Training and handover notes

Business outcomes

  • Cleaner customer data
  • Fewer manual handoffs
  • Better visibility across sales and operations

What it costs

Indicative ranges for the Indian market, not a quote. They exist so you can sanity-check a budget before writing a brief — scoping produces the real number, and it may land outside these bands.

Focused build

₹4,00,000 – ₹10,00,000

Typically 8–12 weeks

Contacts, pipeline, roles and the handful of integrations the process actually depends on.

With automation & reporting

₹12,00,000 – ₹30,00,000

Typically 12–20 weeks

Workflow automation, dashboards, migration from existing tools and deeper system integration.

Budget roughly 15–20% of the build cost per year for maintenance — dependency and OS updates, security patches, and small improvements.

Where the budget goes

Every engagement runs through the same five phases. Discovery is the smallest line and the one that most reliably pays for itself — industry data puts it at 5–10% of budget while cutting development overspend by 40–60%.

Discovery & scoping
5–10%1–4 weeks

Clarify the business goal, users, constraints and risks, then agree what the first release must contain. The cheapest phase to get right and the most expensive to skip.

Design & architecture
~15%1–4 weeks

Interface design, data model, integration map and the technical decisions that are hard to reverse later.

Build
~50%Bulk of the project

Engineering in focused cycles with working previews, so scope and direction stay visible instead of arriving as a surprise at the end.

Testing & hardening
~15%1–4 weeks

Functional testing, performance, accessibility and security checks. Runs alongside the build rather than only at the end.

Launch & handover
~10%1–2 weeks

Deployment, documentation, store submission where relevant, and the handover that lets the product be operated and improved after release.

Common questions

When is a custom CRM worth building instead of using an off-the-shelf one?
When the sales or operations process is genuinely specific and the team is bending itself around a generic tool — heavy customisation, duplicated data entry, spreadsheets filling the gaps, or per-seat costs rising faster than value. If a standard CRM fits the process with light configuration, that is usually the cheaper answer.
Can you migrate data from our current CRM or spreadsheets?
Yes. Migration is treated as part of the build: mapping the existing fields, cleaning and de-duplicating records, validating the result, and cutting over without losing history.
Will a custom CRM integrate with the tools we already use?
That is usually the point of building one. Integration with email, accounting, support and internal systems is designed in, so the CRM becomes the place the process actually runs rather than another system to update by hand.
How long before a custom CRM pays for itself?
The honest answer is that it depends on how many hours the current process wastes and what per-seat licensing already costs. Those numbers are worth working out before committing — the break-even case should be clear from the scope, not discovered afterwards.
How much does a custom CRM cost in India?
A focused build covering contacts, pipeline, roles and key integrations is typically ₹4,00,000–₹10,00,000 over 8–12 weeks. Adding workflow automation, reporting and migration from existing tools moves it to roughly ₹12,00,000–₹30,00,000 over 12–20 weeks. Worth comparing against what per-seat licensing and the current manual hours already cost you each year.
